We recently had a customer who was assembling finished PCB's into plastic molded housings. They asked us if we could make a holding fixture for them. The fixture needed to be ESD, and could not scratch or otherwise damage the plastic exterior of the housing.
We developed a "lazy susan" style fixture with an aluminum base and a delrin platform. The spinning platform locked in place, held the housing securly to permit PCB installation, and then spun around and locked in place to permit installation on the other side as well. Worked like a charm!
Got an assembly issue of your own? Call us and let us know how we can help you!
