Pentagon can manufacture dedicated Auto Insertion tooling for your Universal machine. Dedicated tooling provides huge advantages in throughput over standard adjustable insertion tooling by making it possible to populate several PCB's in a single pass.
Our multi-up insertion fixtures typically utilize our spring-loaded Ball Pincher PCB holddown for easy board loading and unloading. Accurate PCB location is achieved through the use of tooling pins engaging with holes in the board, and we provide you with a drawing showing offset specs for programming purposes.
Auto Insertion fixtures from Pentagon EMS are usually available in under a week and the cost is substantially less than can be had from the original equipment manufacturer.
