Press Fit Process Tooling
Press Fit technology requires tooling and support fixtures that are rigid enough to provide a stable platform supporting the insertion force necessary to press the connector into the printed circuit board without damage to either the PCB or the connector.
When properly used, Press Fit tooling from Pentagon EMS will accurately engage with the connector and align with the board to evenly seat the connector on the assembly.
